This is where you can keep up to date with our Year 6s when they are away at Robinwood.
Day 1 – Wednesday
As you can see we’ve had a great first day at Robinwood and all groups have been getting stuck into the activities. So far we’ve been caving, climbing and even managed to fit in some archery. Everyone has been great and the team spirit and support for each other has been amazing. We can’t wait for tomorrow!
Day 2 – Thursday
What a busy day! It’s been non-stop since breakfast. The weather has been wonderful and the groups have been busy on the zip-wires, crate challenge, obstacle courses and in the Piranha Pool! There’s still plenty to look forward to tomorrow though, including canoeing, trapeze and the giant swing! Then, it’ll be back home to Durham Lane. I’m pretty certain that most children will sleep all of the way home!
Day 3 – Friday
The weather wasn’t as warm on Friday, but spirits were still high. Two groups enjoyed canoeing and the Giant Swing, whilst the other group were caving and trying the trapeze. After lunch, sadly it was time to set off home. The journey went well and amazingly, although everyone was tired, no-one fell asleep (not even the adults!). We were back at school for 5:15pm and greeted by Mrs Ball and our parents.
We all had an amazing time! Here you can look at some photographs of our time away.
