On Wednesday 15th June, a group of 8 children from years 4 and 5 went to Roseberry Primary School in Billingham to take part in a Science Day. The children from Durham Lane were joined by pupils from Roseberry, The Glebe and Whitehouse Farm Primary Schools. They were challenged to solve “real life” problems using and applying their science knowledge. They had to use their knowledge of electrical circuits to design a water level alert system for a well. In their second challenge, they had to find ways to separate and test materials for dog medicines. An exciting and challenging day was had by all!
