My vision is that Durham Lane Primary School is a centre for excellence, serving our children, their families and the community as best we can, making sure they achieve and succeed.
Our school is a special place full of learning, laughter and friendship where everyone is happy, feels safe and is valued. We enjoy the present, but look to the future – and aspire to equip our children with the skills, curiosity and resilience they need to continue learning throughout their lives.

We are delighted to announce that we will be offering 30 hour provision. The children will continue with their morning placements, but we are now able to offer some flexibility for afternoon Nursery provision and before and afterschool provision. Mrs. Guest, the Nursery Teacher, will teach both in the mornings and the afternoons.
We’ve all had a brilliant well-being day to celebrate Childrens Mental Health Week! The theme this year was ‘This is my place’. Children have enjoyed activities such as yoga, mindfulness, making friendship bracelets, keyring and magnets as well as creating their own islands that show where they feel they belong 🥰
On Wednesday and Thursday, every year group had the opportunity to try a new activity with Mr Lowes. The children enjoyed aerobic exercises to music with glow sticks and light up drums sticks and even mini trampolines! 🌈
This is awesome. I hope it becomes a regular thing or even an after school club option?
Thank you to all the children and staff at Durham Lane Primary School. We blown away by all the children's positive attitude's, endless energy and beautiful behaviour. Yesterday, the reception children made a healthy vegetable soup. We followed the instructions in the recipe, prepared all of the vegetables and then enjoyed eating it with some lovely bread!🥣🍞😋👍
