My vision is that Durham Lane Primary School is a centre for excellence, serving our children, their families and the community as best we can, making sure they achieve and succeed.

We are delighted to announce that we will be offering 30 hour provision. The children will continue with their morning placements, but we are now able to offer some flexibility for afternoon Nursery provision and before and afterschool provision. Mrs. Guest, the Nursery Teacher, will teach both in the mornings and the afternoons.
This week Year 3 and 4 have been very creative in DT! They have been making their very own death masks using techniques such as paper mache and painting! Look how amazing they are!

Yesterday was Year 5's turn to complete the Actual Game Of Life with Simon Carson! They had a brilliant day learning about how to manage their money as they get older.
Year 6 had a brilliant afternoon at Bede Sixth Form College this afternoon as they took part in the T1 Rugby festival. They learnt new skills and rules for T1 rugby and enjoyed playing matches against some other local schools 🏉
